Silence. Holy Saturday, different from the day before, is marked by a mixture of silence, quiet anticipation, mourning, sadness, hope and lots of questions. It's a time where you have began to accept the horrible, unthinkable events of Friday. It is also a time filled with glimmers of hope. Hope that they will return again, the phone will ring, the email will arrive, they will reconsider and take you back, or perhaps he/she will, somehow turn up again. Most of life is spent in between crucifixion and resurrection. After death and before the resurrection.
